The Bachelor of Arts program in criminology is designed to enhance students’ understanding of how crime is defined, analyzed, and addressed in policy and practice.

- CRI 205: Criminology
- CRI 306: Research Methods
- CRI 499: Senior Capstone in Policy Analysis
Bounded Electives (1 unit)

- CRI 202: Penology
Methods Option (1 unit)
Select one from below:
- CRI 215: Data Management and Analysis
- CRI 317: Introduction to Crime Mapping
- CRI 370: Qualitative Methods
Major Electives (6 units)
- At least 4 at the 300 level or higher**
- At least 1 must fulfill the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Requirement (i.e., CRI 256: Women in the Criminal Justice System, CRI 304: Victimology, or CRI 352: Race, Crime, and Justice)
Becoming a Criminology Major: Upon successful completion of Criminology (CRI 100), please complete the Change of Major form and submit it to the Department of Criminology Office (SSB 304).
